I am lucky to have known Kev for 20 years. I invariably met with him in our group of friends to share the good times; nights out in Exeter and golf weekends in Cornwall. I also have strong memories at this time of a trip with him to Cambridge and Prague. I am forever grateful to my old school friend Leo who worked with Kev after university and introduced me to him and Sarah back in the day. I instantly admired Kev's sense of humour. In my eyes he was the ultimate master of the humorous play on words. Anyone who knows him will remember his razor sharp wit and outstanding puns. I often tried to compete with his wit after a few beers but would quite rightly be taken down. He was also a committed family man and had a lust for life that was admirable. If he was presented with anything negative on a night out, he would humorously find a positive. I looked up to him for this being a bit of a miserable git myself. His sudden and unexpected death is so profoundly shocking I'm struggling to come to terms with it. I was drinking with him a few weeks before Christmas and he was typically on good form, funny and full of life. My heart goes out to Sarah, Jack and Eva. Love you Kev. Buds x
